Balmy Thursday, Active Friday

That potent low driving the Upper Midwest blizzard tracks northeast the next couple of days and we’re in for a one-two frontal punch! Thursday’s bringing the spring heat thanks to a strong southerly wind and a warm front lifting into Ohio & Indiana. Lexington will take a shot at the warmest high and the 1st 80° high of the year. Watch for 30-40 mph wind gusts this evening & overnight. A wind advisory is in effect for western Kentucky for gusts in the 40-45+ mph range. Showers and isolated t-showers will fire Friday morning and taper off later in the day after a cold front sweeps east.
