The first *downtown* Thursday Night Live of the year is this evening. It will feel more like a summer evening down at 5/3 Pavilion with temperatures in the 70s. The wind will pick up and skies will become mostly cloudy. A Wind Advisory will in effect for the Bluegrass through Friday morning for gusts up to 45 mph. We’ll keep it dry this evening, but by the morning showers will arrive. Rain with scattered thundershowers will be around during the first half of the day tomorrow as the system that produced blizzard conditions across the Plains passes to our north.

Showers will clear out in time for UK’s spring football game in the evening. For the most part Saturday is also looking dry. An old front will hang around southeastern Kentucky, which could spark spotty showers. We will all get in on the action Sunday as a system lifts out of Texas. Widespread rain with scattered storms will be possible. The off and on shower and storm trend will continue into next week. Showers look to be mostly off during the first half of the week.
