Thanks to a late day sliver o’ sunshine Lexington clawed into the low 50s Monday. That well below average chill won’t be an issue for the next few days. A strong (gusty at times) southwest wind sets up as high pressure drifts east and we will warm up in a hurry! Expect mostly to partly sunny skies with highs in the 70s for the next three days. Our next round of showers and strong storms is still on track to fire late Thursday into Friday as a cold front sweeps through and cools it back down for the weekend.
