If only we could have sped things up by about 24 hours. Showers moved out this morning, and the clouds are now starting to break. This afternoon has given us a preview of what’s to come. Skies will continue to clear out tonight with lows near 50°.

Tomorrow will be really delightful. Too bad it’s a Monday. High pressure will allow sunshine skies to sticking around, and it will kick start a warming trend. We’ll be seasonably mild with highs in the mid to upper 70s tomorrow. Temperatures will return to the low 80s mid-week. Along with the rising mercury, there will be increasing chances for storms. A pop-up thundershower is possible Tuesday. A few more storms could develop Wednesday afternoon. More numerous thunderstorms, even some on the strong side, will arrive Thursday. Rain and storms will begin trailing off into the weekend. We are still keeping a low end chance for showers in the forecast through Mother’s Day.
