A Major Warm Up

We started to feel it today. It’s getting warm outside. A major warm up is on the way that will bring a taste of summer to the Bluegrass.

High temperatures will remain to the 80s tomorrow and that’s where we’ll stay through next week. Some of the warmest days of the year are expected with highs expected to run in the mid to upper 80s during the middle of next week. We *could* even crack 90 degrees for the first time this year. That’s something we don’t normally do in late May.

It will also be getting more humid. But at the same time it will remain relatively dry with only a couple of chances for scattered showers and storms. One will come tonight as a cluster of thunderstorms dives south towards the Ohio River. These chances are pretty slim with areas north and east having the greatest potential for a late-night shower or storm. The next will come late Sunday/Monday with another round of scattered showers and storms. Otherwise get set for some great summertime weather.
