It’s mid May and still spring but with a round of very summery weather in the making welcome to…. sprummer? We’ll see consistent highs well above average this weekend and into next week- in the mid to upper 80s. Lexington’s record highs are in the low 90s so we aren’t quite in record territory but we’ll certainly see our warmest days of the year so far. Most pools still aren’t open- might be time to break out the sprinkler or hit the lake!
In addition to the elevated warmth we’re cranking up the humidity which in turn, combined with daytime heating, gives us an increasing chance for isolated to scattered pm showers & storms Saturday into Sunday.
