Spotty showers are winding down. All showers will shut off after midnight once a cold front crosses the area. Behind the drier air will arrive. Gradually skies will clear Monday. It also won’t be quite as warm to begin the week. We’ll call it pleasantly warm with highs in the mid/upper 70s. Mornings will be even more delightful. Tuesday will start off in the lower 50s.
Enjoy it while it lasts! The heat and humidity get cooking again during the second half of the week. Highs will return to the upper 80s on Wednesday. That’s where we’ll stay through the holiday weekend. There is also the possibly the first 90° of the year Friday or Saturday. Oh, and along the way we’ll enjoy a good deal of sunshine. Storm chances will be nothing more that some daily chances for pop-up afternoon storms.
