This morning’s batch of rain and storms didn’t do much to bring some relief from the rising heat and humidity. Isolated thundershower could be pop up along a lingering boundary through sunset.
Welcome back to summer! Heat and humidity are getting cooking again just ahead of the unofficial start of summer. The holiday weekend promises some of the hottest days with the year with highs near 90 degrees. Hot and humid days with partly to mostly sunny skies and chances for isolated storms will be on repeat. There will be plenty of time to head outside over the long weekend. Sunday will include a slightly better chance for a few storms. Hot and muggy days will persist beyond Memorial Day.
