The good news for this evening – the severe thunderstorm watch and all warnings have expired. Storms are moving out and dissipating right on schedule. Skies will remain partly to mostly cloudy overnight. Patchy fog will be possible, especially for areas that saw rain today. It will also be a warm night with lows dipping near 70°.

Memorial Day will be hot and humid. With the way this holiday weekend has been going you wouldn’t expect anything less. Highs will range from the mid 80s to the lower 90s. You’ll want to keep an eye to the sky during your cookouts later in the day. This evening’s storms will leave behind an outflow boundary. This boundary will work it’s way back north as a warm front tomorrow. Not only will it push the heat and humidity up, it will also be capable of producing a few storms. Activity won’t be as clustered or intense, but widely scattered showers and storms will be possible once again.
