Clusters of strong thunderstorms have developed this afternoon. Nothing has been severe, however these storms have produced very hail rain and some small hail. Storms will continue moving east through this evening.

We will step into the month of June, and meteorological summer, with some comfortably warm temperatures. It won’t be too hot or too cool. It will be just right. Saturday will be the pick of the weekend with more sunshine than clouds, highs in the lower 80s, and comfortable humidity. Sunday will be mostly good. A cold front will zip through the area bringing hit or miss showers, may a storm in spots. Behind the system even cooler and drier air will arrive.

You might say it will be a little chilly stepping out Monday morning with temperatures in the upper 40s. Monday will stay seasonably cool with highs only in the mid 70s. Tuesday will be another pleasant June day with highs closer to 80 degrees. The rest of next week will feature seasonal highs in the lower 80s and daily chances for at least isolated storms.
