Severe Threat Backs Off But We’re Still Unsettled

Our midweek round of strong to severe storms faded early Thursday morning but we’re not done with active weather. The combination of a cold front stalling out across the Ohio River Valley and an approaching upper low will keep scattered showers and storms firing the rest of the week and into the weekend. The severe storm threat will stay low but heavy rain is possible- we’ll see a 1″-3″+ rainfall range from north to south over the next five days. There will be breaks in the action but our next completely dry and storm free day may not hit until early next week! Tuesday, possibly? At least highs will stay consistent- in the upper 70s to low 80s.
