While we’re seeing a little more dry time today, we are still stuck in the middle of a very unsettled pattern. Scattered thundershowers will continue this evening. Tomorrow will bring a few more breaks in the action. The weekend won’t be a washout, however there will be better rain and storm chances especially on Sunday. Additional heavy rain and gusty winds will be possible as a cut-off low cuts across the Southeast. One to three inches of rain are possible through Monday.

When it’s not raining or storming during this stretch, it will be muggy with highs around 80° and there will be limited sunshine. Our next dry day won’t come until Tuesday. Sunshine will rule the skies and it won’t be as muggy once the rain clears out. The remainder of next will bring mild temperatures with chances widely scattered storms starting back up on Wednesday.
