We can’t sugar coat this forecast so we might as well come out and say it. This weekend won’t be the nicest as heavy rain and the occasional storm hang around the Commonwealth. A pesky cut-off low will continue to spiral more wet weather our direction. While the weekend won’t be a complete washout, there will be significantly more wet hours than dry ones.
The rain will not only be heavy at times, but it will also be steady. One to three inches of rain will be possible this weekend. A Flash Flood Watch is in effect through Sunday evening. Minor flooding issues will likely arise. The rain and storms will eventually taper off on Monday as the low gets moving along. Tuesday will get a gold star – finally dry, partly cloudy, less humid, and pleasant.
