We saw a few nice breaks in the action over the weekend but overall sustained repeated rounds of showers, storms and at times, torrential rain. The general 1″-3″ forecast from last week held but there were pockets of 4″-6″ in areas hit repeatedly by heavy rain. A cold front sweeps east Monday sparking one more wave of scattered showers and t-showers- coverage will shift east through the day with the boundary. A flash flood watch remains in effect for northern Kentucky counties until 10 AM Monday. Expect highs in the 70s, mostly cloudy skies and a strong W/NW wind along the front.
We’ll enjoy a single dry day Tuesday as high pressure briefly takes over before another round of showers & storms fires up midweek.
