Following days of drenching rain, things are slowly beginning to dry up. Drier air will work in tonight. Tomorrow is the day that we’ve all been waiting for. Not only is it Friday and the first day of summer (summer officially begins at 11:54 AM), but it’s also going to be a dry day! Partly to mostly sunny, warm, and not as muggy tomorrow – I think that forecast calls for a day at the pool.
Unfortunately, the forecast will be briefly dry. Can’t say we’ll be dry from start to finish Friday. The next round of storms will rumble in overnight. More heavy rain with gusty winds will be possible. The on again, off again storm trend will continue over the weekend. As the story has been going there will be breaks in the rain and storms. So there will be time to get outside Saturday and Sunday. It’s also going to be very warm this weekend with highs in the mid to upper 80s. Scattered storms will linger Monday. We will string together a few more “pool days” next week. The days will be mostly sunny and very warm with highs in the mid to upper 80s.
