A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH is now in effect for central Kentucky until 8 PM. Scattered strong and severe thunderstorms will move into the area this evening. Storms have a history of damaging winds along the I-65 corridor. The threat for storms will diminish after sunset.
