Temperatures have been steadily cooling thanks to the strong cold front late this week. The wind out of the north has pumped in colder air dropping us down to the upper 30s and low 40s for most this morning. That’s a 25-35 degrees drop in just 24 hours. Clouds will hang around through the day with only a few small breaks with sun from time to time.

Precipitation has taken a break for the early part of the weekend. We’ve cooled to winter-like temperatures this weekend. Sunday will see a positive change as temperatures go up almost 10 degrees. Rain showers look to make a return later Sunday as the first storm in a parade lines up. Showers will take us into the work week. Then, like we’ve seen recently, every day has a chance for showers or thunderstorms depending on how close the storm is. Best chances for rain and storms will be the early part of the work week and the upcoming weekend. The nice thing is the intense spring warm up we get. Temperatures will climb steadily from the 40s today to the middle 70s by the end of the week.
