A typical winter stretch

Cool days with chances for rain

Starting Saturday on a mostly quiet note with only cloud coverage and cool air to keep us company. The wind out of the west is slightly breezy, making the low 40s feel more like freezing or pretty close. The MaxTrack is clear and will remain as such through much of the day.

Approaching the late evening, showers will arrive after a small bit of cloud thinning. Showers will consist of only rain as temperatures remain above freezing as it arrives. Showers will be light and will not amount to much. Generally, a few tenths of an inch at best. As the low wraps around and sends a few more showers our way. All precipitation with this low will be rain for us. Snow will fall on the other side of the Ohio and stretch from Illinois to the New England states, via the Great Lakes. We take a break Monday with partly cloudy skies and temperatures reaching the middle 40s. Showers return on Tuesday with a small low and are expected to be only rain. Another midweek break with a slight warm up before a stronger low that will bring mostly rain, with a small chance for winter precipitation.
