Day two of a fantastic stretch will be experienced today thanks to dry air in place. Sunny skies are a expected with only cirrus streaming in from storms well to our northwest. Temperatures are starting out on a mild note, but if you’re not used to it or get cold easily, you might feel it to be slightly chilly this morning. Don’t worry, the warmup that comes later today will be nice. Temperatures will warm into the low 80s. We do have a little fog out there where moisture is present.

Another nice morning will be followed by another nice afternoon. Labor Day Weekend is shaping up to be one of the best (if not the best) holiday weekend this year. Sunshine will continue, with the only thing interrupting that is a little morning fog, or high cirrus later today. We’ll go into the shortened work week with similar conditions. The only thing really changing is the heat and humidity. As high-pressure slides east of Kentucky, stronger southerly winds will ramp up the warmth and the moisture. Temperatures will rebound into the upper 80s by Tuesday and humidity will be slightly higher. We will still get the sunshine though, making for a summer feeling once again. Things will change quickly as a cold front sags south at the end of the week. This front will bring in cooler air over the upcoming weekend after rain showers and a few storms for Thursday and Friday.
