Things are trending in the positive direction this weekend as we get the sunshine back with temperatures beginning to warm. This morning is starting cold though running right around freezing. Wind is still streaming in from the northwest keeping cold air in the mix.
High pressure will be the deciding factor for our sky coverage today. Sunshine will be back for most everyone as it comes up today. Some clouds will stick around the eastern counties and there may be some river valley fog. After it lifts and breaks you can bet on sunshine until it sets. Temperatures will remain below normal today, only reaching 50 degrees, but that’s still pretty close. Regardless, you can plan on a chilly Saturday with a nice feeling in the sunshine this afternoon. The better of the two weekend days will be tomorrow as we keep mostly sunny or partly cloudy skies and a nice temperature warm up into the low 60s. Rain returns for the middle of the coming week as temperatures remain above average in the 60s each afternoon.
