Temperatures, due to the clear skies, have dropped down into the 20s this morning. Added moisture in the air is likely leading to some haze or fog around the region. This fog will be patchy but freezing. Meaning a light sheen of ice is possible on the windshields. Skies will start with the lifting fog but will eventually turn mostly clear through the day.
A nice weekend is expected. Skies will be mostly to partly cloudy in the afternoons with temperatures rising each day. We stay cold each morning and get to chilly Saturday afternoon. Mild is a better word for Sunday, especially in the sunshine. The next time we stay above freezing the entire day will be Tuesday. Clouds will increase early week as a weak cold front slide through. Temperatures will dip slightly, but don’t expect much more than that. We warm to near 60 degrees by the end of the week as the next precipitation producer arrives. Breezy southerly winds will help up warm up, before the next temperature drop. Temperatures will not be overly cold after the frontal passage. But 60 will turn into 42 as we move into the upcoming weekend.
