Things have calmed some since the weekend, and we’ve certainly cooled down. Temperatures are running 5-25 degrees cooler, based on where the front was at this time yesterday. Temperatures are running cold in the low to upper 30s, and the 5-15 mph WNW wind isn’t making anything feel better. A few spits of precipitation are streaming across the MaxTrack and is mostly rain with a few flakes mixed in.

Things will improve over the next few days as the sun comes back out (eventually) and temperatures warm a little. We will stay cloud tomorrow keeping temperatures in the 30s most of the day. The sun will come back out later Tuesday and again on Wednesday as we warm to near 50 degrees. A passing weak front will sweep in Friday containing more clouds than anything. Precipitation chances remain low, but the front will cool us down into the low 40s that day. A few rain showers are possible with the pass. Saturday looks beautiful with more sun and a chilly afternoon before the next best round of precipitation. Rain is likely both Monday and Tuesday, and there looks to be a winter element added to the forecast.
