We’ve had a few nice days with sunshine, warmth, and marginal humidity. Conditions made it prime for outdoor weather. A cloudy start to Saturday signifies the next change in the pattern which will turn things a little more active moving forward. For now, we’re mild in the low 70s and upper 60s with a dew point temperature residing only a few degrees below.

Moving into the late morning hours, we’ll keep the clouds. Temperatures regardless will warm into the low 80s for the afternoon. Expect numerous thunderstorms later this afternoon and evening thanks to lower pressure from a cold front. Sunday still looks to be the stormiest out of the two this weekend. A few clusters will continue from Saturday due to the front sagging over the state and will leave sometime in the afternoon as the pop-ups are still hanging around. But wait…there’s more! Another weak system will hang around into the beginning and middle of the work week upcoming promising more rain and thunderstorm activity. Things look to quiet down towards the upcoming weekend as temperatures make a run for 90 degrees.
