Get ready for another round of summer heading our way for the weekend. We have high temperatures expected to rise into the mid 80s at least, but some will approach 90 degrees by Sunday thanks to a ridge of high pressure sliding just to our east for the next couple of days. Good pool weather is coming up again as this round of heat is proving that summer is not over with yet. Also, thanks to the high pressure, our days will be filled with plenty of sunshine and most everyone will remain rain-free. The humidity will also begin to crank back up as dew points will be pushing toward 70° by Sunday and continue next week.
Next week, the heat and humidity will remain higher than we've seen in a couple of weeks and with those come the shower and thunderstorm chances again. As a couple of low pressures near Kentucky, every day will hold a chance to see at least a pop-up shower in the afternoon. High temperatures will remain steady in the mid to upper 80s.
