Some of us here in the state are beginning with some just-as-cold temperatures as this time yesterday due to clear skies. Others, in the west, are much warmer...in the 50s as we prepare for another cold front set to move in today through early in the week. Occasional showers will move through early today, but the front will bring more moderate rain overnight into Monday. The cold front will then stall out and actually not move on through the state for a few days. This will make the forecast tricky because depending on where the cold front lays we could have either very warm temperatures or pretty chilly temperatures all the way through next work week. As of now, it looks like the warmth will win out as we rise and remain in the 70s soon. Rain totals will also range widely. Areas near the Ohio River look to pick up between 2.00" and 2.5" of rain by late Monday, while southeastern KY may only see a trace.
