A couple of cloudy and wet days helped us kick off the work week, but today brings the sunshine back as temperatures warm up just a bit. Expect highs returning to the low 70s. That's still below where we should be for late September, but warmer than yesterday at least. A warm front is responsible for our coming warmer air, but the wind will pick up with its passage and the passage of a following cold front.
The low pressure will sit well to the north, and we'll remain dry today, but the cold front will bring us a few showers tomorrow along with the return of colder air again. The start of October will be a crisp, autumn-like one with highs dropping back into the upper 50s for Friday then the low 60s for the weekend.
