After hot and humid air masses have camped out for the past several weeks, we finally cool down soon. About one more hot and humid day is ahead, but by Tuesday a cold front will usher in some nicer temperatures sending us down into the lower 80s for a few days this week. We should be around 82° Tuesday afternoon after some showers and storms roll through, then remain in the lower 80s for the wrap of the work week.
The summer heat certainly is not finished yet, as we still have to get through August, but we can enjoy a slight vacation from the heat and humidity for most of this week. Scattered thunderstorm and rain chances linger through the 8-day too.
