The heaviest of the rain has subsided. We made it through a very rough and hot weather pattern for what seems like the past several months, but after the passage of yesterday's cold front, we are looking ahead to a much gentler start to our work week. Any rain chances we have left for today and tonight will be stray or isolated as there isn't a whole bunch of energy leftover. Generally, we will be drier for the next couple of days (especially compared to the past few). If you like a cooler weather pattern...this one's for you!
Both Monday and Tuesday will hold a chance for afternoon pop-up showers or a rumble of thunder, but nothing too heavy. By midweek, the sunshine will return full force and we'll be dry again. Wednesday will be the most comfortable day with highs in the upper 70s and low humidity. This small taste of fall won't last long though...by Thursday we'll jump right back up into the mid 80s then the upper 80s by next weekend. We also have our eye on Tropical Storm Isaias, but it has remained weaker than expected and won't be affecting our weather here in Kentucky this week.
