Great Start to the New Work Week

Plenty of sunshine is still to come

It's been the most beautiful weather weekend for the past two days. We should continue at least another day or two of this nice weather before we begin to see another pattern change which will bring a bit more unsettled weather into the state and Ohio Valley. At least for the rest of today and tonight we will remain completely dry. Highs got to the low 70s today as expected with full sun. Nightly low temperatures will be chilly at least tonight and tomorrow night. A high pressure will continue to hover over us keeping the sunshine in place for Monday and part of Tuesday.

We could see a few more clouds building in late Tuesday ahead of Tropical Storm Beta which is likely to bring rain toward Tennessee by mid and late week. This tropical storm will also coincide with a cold front which will begin to move our way from the west by the weekend. Just like Sally, most of the rain will stay south of us due to the timing of the cold front. Models are in agreement that temperatures will continue an upward progression with highs reaching the mid 70s by midweek, then possibly even a couple of days near 80 degrees before the passage of the front.
