After yesterday left us with gray, gloomy and rainy conditions today basically our weather flips a 180 and will leave us with beautiful weather including more sunshine and much lower humidity. In order for that to happen, though, the cold front must move through and as it does it will produce just a few light rain showers for this morning. It won't be heavy, nor will it last all day. This afternoon is when the weather will turn nice as clouds depart.
Derby and Labor Day weekend are looking great as we'll hold onto the brilliant sunshine, low humidity, dry grounds and high temperatures around 80 degrees all the way through Sunday. Labor Day itself will be slightly warmer (mid 80s), but we're still expecting a dry day for any picnics or plans. Summer still has a little drive left because later next week, the heat cranks back up into the upper 80s.
