The same high pressure that is allowing many yards to thirst for some rain brings higher heat for Sunday. It's been warm today, but we'll see more widespread heat for tomorrow with most locations especially central and eastern KY reaching the 90-degree mark again. Summer may have taken a break this past week, but it certainly isn't over yet. A mostly sunny sky is also ahead for the day as many stay fully dry. Humidity levels won't be terrible, but still fairly muggy. Enjoy the sun safely.

Our next rain chances won't arrive until Monday. We are needing some rain as we are falling into a slight deficit again. Our next weather-maker (which is a low pressure) won't be here until late Sunday or Monday, but then stick around a few more days. Daily storms are expected especially in the afternoons. Temperatures will be the hottest Sunday, then slowly dip back to the mid 80s range for the rest of the work week.
