It has been a warm and humid today across the state as several showers and thunderstorms have popped up some of those becoming very heavy and move very little. As the storms wind down tonight we will see low temperatures dipping back down into the mid-60s but another hot and humid day is ahead for tomorrow. A weak high pressure will help to keep us a little more dry tomorrow as rain chances will remain on the lower side. Still, some will see a few brief, but heavy downpours again.

Next week we have more sunshine on the return as summer kicks back in full force. High temperatures are expected to rise and remain in the upper 80s toward even 90 degrees through midweek. Another front will bring us a chance to see a few more showers later and that will also help to cool us back down to a more normal temperature leading into next weekend. The humidity each day will soar again making it feel more like the low to mid 90s!
