Summer is Not Over Yet

Another great summer day is in the books as temperatures have been on the rise to the lower 80s, but the humidity staying on the lower side making it feel pretty comfortable. If you like this kind of milder weather, soak it up because some changes are coming our way for the upcoming weekend. Temperatures will steadily begin to rise toward the upper 80s and even lower 90s by Sunday proving summer just isn't finished yet. The humidity is making a comeback as well. Dew points have been in the lower 60s for the past two days giving us a nice, small taste of fall, but we will soon feel sticky again.

A stationary boundary sits to our south keeping the rain action down in Tennessee and Virginia for now. Until next week, you can plan on soaking up some sunshine and getting things done outdoors that need the dry weather. Rain and storm chances will increase through mid next week and into the following weekend.
