We have made it past one cold front, but another one is ahead tomorrow which will increase our clouds and rain chances once again. This particular cold front will bring a line of showers and maybe a thunderstorm in the afternoon, but will be pretty quick-moving and won't linger. Expect showers to fire up early Sunday afternoon through early evening. A few brief wind gusts could accompany the line as will some cloud-to-ground lightning. The flash flood threat has subsided, but a few cells may still hold some terrific downpours at times.
Behind the cold front will come the drier air again...pushing out the tropical feel and adding the comfort! Are you ready to dew point temperatures back into the low 60s, or better yet the upper 50s? Though the air be drier, the days will still be warm with high temperatures set toward the mid 80s for much of next week.
