Now that we're finished with the rain and wind from Laura, we have a cold front moving through this evening. This front is kicking up a fuss for some in southern KY as there are some very heavy downpours plus stronger wind gusts and lightning. This action won't hang around for long, in fact, after sunset, we'll calm back down and our Sunday is looking better/drier. Lower humidity is ahead for tomorrow too! The heat will take a break and we'll see highs in the upper 70s plus more breaks in the clouds. Any rain chance tomorrow will be light and stray.
Later on as we move into a new work week and a new month, the rain/storm action will pick back up. Rain chances will ramp up again for Monday as our next low pressure slides through the Ohio Valley. The upcoming week will also warm back up into the low 80s for several days, but if you like fall weather, we have some ahead by next weekend.
