A few more clouds have been popping up today, but the weather has still been so nice with some sun and continued dry for most. There have been just a few very small cells that have wanted to fire up, rain-wise, in eastern KY, but most everyone is still dry this afternoon and evening. We will continue our dry trend at least for another day, tomorrow, but the weekend will bring more rain chances back to the Commonwealth. Scattered showers and a thunderstorm or two may dampen our weekend, but it won't be a wash-out.

Temperatures continue to remain in the mid to upper 80s here on the east side of the US, while colder than average temperatures have settled in over the west. This cold shot will eventually shift further north of us, so we won't see any heat relief from this particular low, but a weak cold front will drape over us into the weekend bringing the heat down a bit into next week.
