The typical summer weather trend is ahead for our Sunday with clouds puffing up pretty quickly today then giving way to some spotty showers and thunderstorms later this afternoon. Many will stay dry today, so those that see rain will be the lucky ones. It will also be another hot day as the high pressure hovers over eastern KY. Temperatures remain hot for a couple more days, but some relief is on the way! Once a cold front passes on Tuesday/Wednesday temperatures will take a big swing toward the more comfortable by mid and late week. July should end on a decent note and August kicking off with highs in the low 80s for a change! The heat certainly isn't over for the season...but a break will be nice.
