After a cold day of flurries yesterday, today the sunshine should make an appearance! We will stay dry today as temperatures warm up into the upper 30s. Into the weekend, we see a few more chances as yet another cold front will roll back in. For the most part Saturday should be mainly dry. A stray shower late in the day could glide in, but most of the rain will fall between Saturday night into Sunday as clouds return too. The good news is that milder air will join us for the weekend with highs into the mid 40s Saturday and Sunday, and the upper 40s a couple of days next week.
As we near Christmas, the chance to see some more wintry precipitation will ramp up a bit. Dare we dream of a white Christmas? While snow totals near or over 1" is unlikely, the chance to see flurries at least is good. What is certain is the cold air coming for the holiday.
