The weekend will wrap up the same way it began...cloudy and gray. That is how today has ended and we will soon begin to see some clouds clearing out. If it happens overnight then our temperatures will take a tumble down into the upper 20s making for a very chilly start to our new work week. If we see any more rain this evening or tonight, it will be very light and scattered over near eastern KY. We have some sunshine that will return for Monday though and that will make it look much nicer. The first part of the week will be dry, but a quick system could bring a passing shower Monday night into Tuesday morning.
We still don't have much of a snow chance through this week as the moisture is lacking. There's one chance of a couple of snow showers rolling through late in the week between Thursday and Friday, but chances are we'll only see cold rain. Temperatures will be feeling pretty normal for January as highs will rest in the low to mid 40s each day and slightly colder on Friday. Next weekend looks dry again with some more needed sunshine.
