A few stronger storms are beginning to fire up in KY this evening as another cold front moves in. The worst of the storms will be high or damaging winds and hail. After storms finish up this evening, we will dry out for the start of the next work week. The next couple of days especially will be nice, sunny and dry. Humidity levels, in the wake of the front, will be lower for Monday, but by Tuesday the sticky air will return again. Dry weather is expected at least until Wednesday and in those three days, we'll see a nice amount of sunshine. The heat will also kick up again with a ridge of high pressure building. The hottest day should be Wednesday with highs into the low 90s and feeling like the mid 90s with dew point temperatures well into the 70s.

The next chance for rain and storms will be Thursday through next weekend with Friday looking like the most active day at this point. This typical summer-like pattern of heat, humidity and thunderstorm chances will push us into the weekend where temperatures will camp out in the upper 80s to low 90s.
