This Thursday begins with warm and moist air again and as a cold front begins to drape itself through the state, we have another chance to see scattered showers and some thunderstorms throughout the day. The first round could be here as early as this morning and some more action in the hottest part of the day...the afternoon/evening. Half of our viewing area is under a marginal risk for severe weather and will cover eastern KY. The threats are much of the same: torrential rain with flash flooding potential, hail and high wind gusts. Keep the umbrella around for much of the day. High temperatures will also be more seasonal today...in the mid 80s.
