After a fully dry weather week, we shift again toward a more unsettled weekend. The rest of today will be nice and dry, and we should even see the sun peek out by evening as high temperatures return to the low 80s for most. Rain chances will ramp up with a bit more moisture attached to the showers both for Saturday and Sunday. The whole weekend won't be a wash-out and you'll be able to enjoy some dry times, but keep the umbrella around. Future rain totals could near three inches in isolated spots by the time the weekend is said and done. Most will see around one inch of rain.

Thunderstorm chances exist as well, but the worst part will be torrential rain showers at times, and possibly some gusty wind to accompany the rain. The rain will sweep out with the cold front by late Sunday leaving us with a nicer and dry few days into next week. We should even get to experience a brief dip in humidity levels again by Tuesday.
