Once again, we are facing the chance to see a few thunderstorms into our weekend. For Friday evening, any shower will generally fade by sundown. Things will stay quiet overnight and to start your Saturday, but a cold front threatens scattered showers and thunder for the afternoon. The severe weather risk is a level 1 for our area with the threat for strong winds and small hail as well as heavy downpours of rain. Once the cold front passes, we will get fantastic weather for Sunday to finish the weekend and early in the new work week, too. Temperatures will cool to the low 80s Sunday and Monday then warm back up toward normal (mid/upper 80s) later in the week.
Unsettled for part of the weekend
Showers and storms will develop Saturday afternoon
