Skies remain cloudy as a few light rain or drizzle showers pass us by. There is heavy rain around us, but not over our forecast area. Temperatures are starting warmer this morning due to the cloud coverage and we sit in the 50s for most locations. Wind out of the north is light.
The rest of your Sunday will bring an abundance of cloud coverage with the occasion rain shower. Into the afternoon the small amount of heating we will get may kickoff a re isolated thundershowers, especially in the eastern counties. It will be a mostly cloudy Sunday, but a few sunshine breaks may be available from time to time. We should get through most of Monday without rain, but a sprinkle or drizzle is possible. Tuesday will be the better chance for rain and thunderstorms as the next storm system gets close. We will warm temperatures each day until Wednesday. Afterwards, a couple of strong cold fronts will knock us down. We will cool through the 60s and most of the 50s as we wrap up the work week.
