Temperatures have stayed low today thanks to the pesky and persistent cloud deck overhead. We’re running cold in the low to middle 30s for most locations. Only small bits of sun have been seen at times. Wind has shifted out of the southwest which will *eventually* help temperatures.
Things haven’t looked great today as the cloud deck lingers. A passing trough has been responsible for the blocking of the sun, but things will change quickly as high pressure builds in. Skies will remain cloudy through tonight keeping temperatures from dipping too much. We should get down to around freezing. Tomorrow, the cloud deck breaks and sunshine will return to the forecast. This will warm us up into the low 50s, but also allow us to cool rapidly into the 20s overnight into Thursday. A passing front will bring in more clouds Friday, but little else. A few light showers are possible, but not likely. As for now, the weekend remains nice, but chilly.
