Finally! The sunshine has returned. Today was beautiful, after the clouds cleared. Temperatures remained cool, but we’re in for a nice warm up over the next 48 hours. As for now, we’re slipping back down through the 40s and 30s thanks to the clearing overhead. Some river valley fog possible to set up overnight and early Monday morning.
The sunshine was nice today, but we have better weather on approach. How can it get better? You ask. Take today’s sunshine and put it over a 10 degrees temperature jump. Tomorrow will look AND feel great thanks to a southerly wind setup. The is the precursor to the next storm system looking to set up midweek. Even Tuesday morning will be nice before we increase the clouds ahead of the rain. Rain showers look to arrive later in the day Tuesday, so you still have chances to get out. Rain and wind will be a certainty through Wednesday as the cold front arrives.
Temperatures will cool through the day and we should bottom out around freezing on Thanksgiving morning. There will be some sun at times, but you can mostly expect a cloudy and chilly Turkey Day with rain ending very early, if it hasn’t already finished for your area. The next best chance for rain arrives over the upcoming weekend.
