We’re in for a treat this weekend with a fall-like feeling for the first UK home game of the season. A very fall air mass is in place and will keep temperatures below normal all day. We are starting the morning out on a chilly note. Temperatures are mostly in the low 40s and upper 30s. Some of the higher terrain could be seeing some early-season frost. Skies are clear for most and wind is light.
College football has found its way back to the Bluegrass and will be met with very nice conditions. Temperatures are cooler than normal by about 10 degrees thanks to another fall air mass in place. An added bonus will be the high-pressure keeping rain away most of today. Skies will go from mostly sunny to partly cloudy by the afternoon. Kickoff is slated for 4:00 pm today. Weather conditions around this time: Temperatures running in the low to middle 60s with partly cloudy skies, no rain, and a light wind variable out of the south. Anything you decide to do today will be met with nice fall weather conditions. Tomorrow will be a bit of a change. Showers look to make a return as the next low slides in. Scattered showers will begin early Sunday morning and continue periodically through the day. Rain will be light, and if you’re not getting any at the time, it will be cloudy and cool. Next week looks to be another nice one with low rain chances and plenty of sunshine. This time, we warm up closer to normal.
