We’re in for a treat mid through late week after cold front number two passes. For now, we’re still running warm and humid with a small chance for isolated pop-up showers and storms. As for now, the MaxTrack is picking up on a little activity. As more heating occurs there will be more flare ups. Temperatures are running warm, but humidity has been cut slightly behind the first front that arrived over the weekend.

As the second front passes, it will have enough low pressure and just enough moisture to let a few storms develop each afternoon. Isolated activity will bring heavy downpours and a few strong wind gusts; also lightning. If you’re not getting the storms, you’re under partly cloudy skies with a warm, but relatively comfortable feeling. The front will pass tomorrow, bringing the activity with it. We may see a few storms develop in the southeastern counties Wednesday, but the chance remains low. Partly to mostly clear skies are expected from midweek through late week. Also, temperatures will cool into the low 80s or about 5 degrees below normal. Humidity will be cut even more making for a pretty comfortable few days. Heat and humidity return for the weekend with better chances for rain and thunderstorms.
