Things are trending up in the temperature department, at least for today, before the next shakeup. We start cold with temperatures in the 20s or low 30s. Clear skies made sure we dropped significantly overnight. Some ice on windshields possible. Visibility seems to be doing better than yesterday at this time.
If you’re not starting with sun this morning, give it time. Eventually everyone will see some sun. Clouds will increase through the day, but that won’t stop the cold 20s from becoming the mild 50s. Temperatures should top out in the low 50s this afternoon making for a chilly day, but mild in the sun after lunch. No rain expected with the increase in clouds, at least not yet. Tomorrow, a dying cold front will increase the chance for a few stray showers. Tuesday will bring a slightly better chance. I wouldn’t bet on rain, but if you get a shower or two don’t be surprised. Otherwise it’ll just be a cloudy start to the week. It’ll also be a cloudy end to the week as temperatures climb ahead of the next storm system. We will likely hit the low 60s with rain showers Thursday. A slight cool down is expected after the front, but it seems to be manageable. I’ve even lowered the rain/snow chance early Friday as temperatures should only drop to the low 40s. We may hit freezing Saturday morning, but precipitation will be in a break pattern at that time. The next round of precipitation will come in the form of rain Saturday into Sunday.
