We start the week with some fog in place. This will make for a hazy morning, but as the sun comes up and warms up the surface temperatures, the fog will slowly waste away and the sun will appear. Sunshine can be expected everywhere by the afternoon and it will turn into a nice day. Temperatures will also warm into the low 70s this afternoon making it a good one for outdoor activities.

The beginning of the week will remain nice. Even with the added cloud coverage Tuesday, conditions remain pleasant. Mornings will be chilly with patchy fog in place. Skies clear into the afternoons and the temperatures rise into the 70s. Clouds increase Tuesday thanks to a stalled front to our immediate northwest. There is little moisture working with this front, so the only real effect from it will be the cloud coverage we receive, especially in the Bluegrass and northern counties. Wednesday will have showers present or overcast skies. The low that is attached to the front will move overhead allowing a large rain shield to enter the region. Rain will continue overnight. A secondary frontal system will rush in Thursday and ramp up energy for a second day. This means rain and thunderstorms will be likely for Halloween this year. After the Thursday front, temperature cool through the end of the week and we are looking at our first freeze of the season this coming weekend.
